Pray for God’s direction in the team members in balancing the PSC role with their other priorities 

1 Peter 5:7 - …casting all your anxieties on him, because He cares for you Isaiah 26:12 – Lord, you establish peace for us: all that we have accomplished you have done for us. Hebrews 12: 1-2 -…Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith…The following Prayer Topics relate to the Selection Process and how the team conducts, interfaces with the congregation and candidate(s):
 

 
Pastor Search Committee (PSC)
11-week Prayer Emphasis - Week Six - March 8-15, 2020:

Pray that committee members conduct their roles with supernatural discernment, wisdom and strength.

• Our PSC will represent our leadership. .
• Each week’s prayer emphasis is based on the Bible to help us pray and grow scripturally.

      Home Care Day
Saturday, March 14, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

  • CFBC Home Care Team provides a variety of home repairs for  qualifying individuals who need a helping hand such as widows, single parents, military spouses, and the disabled for members of CFBC and regular attenders.

  • Gary's Cheatham's brother-in-law, Luther, for recovery from heart surgery.
  • Kay Miller for travel safety traveling to see her sister Sue.  Also pray for Sue who has cancer.
  • Rady Villaflor needing additional blood work testing on Monday.
  • Gene Birdwell had a steroid shot last Tuesday. Pray it works because he needs relief from pain.
  • Charlene Allcorn's grandson, Nolan, doctor appointment Tuesday, pray for good rreport.
  • Don Marvin, pray that steroid shot and brace will help relieve pain in his right knee.  
  • Linda Jarnagin, pray for effective treatment for infection in her ear.

    Pray for a good outcome for Delores Shows' heart valve surgery she will be having on Friday. Pray peace for Delores's family and skill for the doctor.  

    Betsy Wilks
    Mavis Dale had a reaction to some food she ate. She spent one night at the hospital for observation and testing. She is home now. Pray for complete recovery.

    Tom Cross
    Pray for Bill and Julie. Bill will enter the second week of his treatment. They are very hopeful of this and depending on Jesus to provide healing.  

    Roxsann Bear
    Ryan is having a few problems with left arm turning blue    .

    Gail and Skip McMurry
    Please continue to pray for our daughter-in-law's father, Richard, for 2 more chemo treatments, but won't do them until the infection in the ear is healed.

  • Please continue for the healing of my eye. I will see the eye doctor tomorrow. I will get a report and another eye ejection.  Thanks for all your prayers and love.
